Anyone into this? Anyone know about these? The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is on sale for $1200, but I cannot find anyone that owns one. I can find articles talking about how the Kickstarter was funded, how much fun the prototypes are, etc. - but nothing stating the Kickstarter orders were funded and shipped, how the high or low the quality of the drift trikes are, etc. Their blog just talks about their kick-ass (but not $1200) Rally Fighter.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Alternatively, I can go with something cheaper if I'm willing to get some exercise and pedal.

is selling these for $435, which seems like an okay deal. And being fulfilled by Amazon, I know I'll receive it. But I'm also lazy, so pedaling...? Then again, the lack of motor likely would give me some slack should a law enforcement officer encounter me riding in a less than perfectly safe manor, and I could probably use the exercise and time outdoors. Are these enough fun that I'd actually ride one, or would I ride it once, decide its too much work, and leave it in the garage for years?
Thanks!

Have always been interested but never been able to justify buying one. I have too many other toys =[
Edit: I'd get the nonelectric one unless you live somewhere that has absolutely no hills. The motor is really unnecessary

Just get a Crazy Cart! Or build one, shouldn't be too hard.

I'd go with the pedal one. $1200 is a lot of money for something that you can use only in very limited situations. You can have a drift car for that money. Not a good one. Plus the batteries will eventually die.

$435 for a trike with plastic wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you could build one for under a $100 I bet.

if I had the motivation and skills for that, I'd be swapping a 1JZGTE/2JZGTE into... something right now. hell, maybe a drift trike. :D

unfortunately, there's not a lot of areas around where I live to drift - safely, at least. the appeal to this is its something I could probably do around my neighborhood, as the pedal bike would legally be considered a bicycle, and there's no laws against drifting a bicycle (yet).
when I got into quadding, I was expecting a lot of drifting. instead, the terrain is so rutted and rocky where I live that if I am drifting, something likely either popped or broke.

yeah. I wish a major manufacturer mass produced these. if they did, then the price would come down and it would be very easy to justify picking one up. Huffy actually makes a reasonably priced, mass produced drift trike. they just don't sell them in America for some reason.
